This course covers the CATIA Generative Shape Design (GSD) workbenches and includes general tuition in surfacing concepts, quality and methodology. All key functions are covered along with recommended methods for constructing and editing history-based surface models. This course is suitable for a broad range of users, working in areas as diverse as geometry import and repair, tooling design, automotive body-in-white and race car design.
The course includes a mixture of presentation, tutorial and exercises, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. Course sizes are intentionally kept small, typically 6 students. This allows our trainers to meet the requirements of individual students, while relating course content to work-related issues.

New CATIA V5 Mechanical Designers
Prerequisites
6 months minimum use of CATIA (CATIA V5 Fundamentals is recommended). Experience with the Windows operating system
